Uber-sexy Sashi Naidoo not starving

Forget anorexic models - Sashi Naidoo has beaten global beauties to the FHM sexiest woman in the world title with chocolates and crisps in hand.

Port Elizabeth-born Naidoo, 30, topped the Hot 100 list ahead of the likes of Angelina Jolie, pop singers Christina Aguilera and Cheryl Cole, South African models Roxy Louw and Lee-Ann Liebenberg, and YFM radio presenter Bonang Matheba.

Readers of the South African edition of the men's magazine cast about 1.5million votes to decide the Hot 100.

Naidoo has been a cover girl for FHM magazine twice before.

"It's amazing news," she said of being voted No1. "I'm still in shock [but] I'm not going to lie and say I'm an avid gym-goer . I have no routine, but I try to get to gym as often as I can."

She put her good looks down to genes.

Naidoo said she found it hard to keep away from chocolate and crisps, but admitted she might have to start making more of an effort to exercise and eat healthily.

"It gets scarier as you get older. I represent girls [through her agency, Alushi Model Management] who are 18 and age is on their side. At my age, you have to work harder to work that bikini," she said.

"But there comes a time when you have to hang up the bikini and I'm definitely reaching it. I'm not going to try to be sexy forever."

She said she was taking 12 women friends out to celebrate her new title tomorrow night.

Naidoo said her husband of 16 months, Marc Sandler, was rather blasé about it.

"He said he didn't need anybody to tell him how beautiful I was."

FHM editor Hagen Engler gave Naidoo the good news by SMS while she was attending the Monte Carlo Grand Prix recently.

Engler said: "Sashi is one of the true beauties of our time and a most deserving winner . She is everything a man could wish for in a woman: gorgeous, vivacious, funny and exciting to be around.

"She's the very definition of sexy, as far as I'm concerned."

Naidoo and Sandler want to start a family soon.

"We're very excited about taking the step. For me, I've achieved all that I've wanted to in my modelling career. I've done everything that I've wanted to do," she said.
