Trade Route Mall and the Mahatma Gandhi Remembrance Organisation will celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela by releasing 93 floating Janton lights into the night sky - a symbol of peace, with each candle representing a year of Madiba's life.

The ceremony will take place at the mall at 5.30pm for 6pm. The community, organisations and businesses are welcome. Struggle icons Ahmed Kathrada, Isu Chiba and many dignitaries are expected to be present to light their candle of hope and health for Madiba, and to celebrate what he stands for - peace and tolerance.
