Petrol to increase by 17 cents

The retail price of all grades of petrol will increase by 17 cents a litre on Wednesday, says the energy department.

A litre of 95 unleaded petrol in Gauteng would now cost R10.09.

The price of diesel with a 0.05 and 0.005 percent sulphur content would increase by 15 cents a litre.

The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin would increase by 10 cents a litre.

The single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin would increase by 13 cents a litre.
