The two men accused of killing a Pretoria woman pleaded not guilty to her murder in the High Court in Pretoria on Monday.

Former Nigerian Olympic athlete Ambrose Monye and Andre Gouws both pleaded not guilty to five charges relating to Chanelle Henning's murder.

The four other charges were conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to procure an illegal firearm and ammunition, possession of an illegal firearm, and possession of illegal ammunition.

The matter was stood down until after lunch as the State was waiting for an interpreter to become available.

The 26-year-old mother was shot dead while driving in Faerie Glen in Pretoria East on November 8, 2011, shortly after dropping off her child at a crèche.
