Car lands on a roof in Klipfontein

A man was rescued after his car left the road and landed on top of a roof at a house in Klipfontein near Midrand, Johannesburg emergency said.

"The injured driver was taken to Tembisa Hospital for medical attention. We have to cut his car to rescue him," said spokesman Robert Mulaudzi.

He said man was driving along Allendale road towards Tembisa at the time of the accident.

"The VW Golf landed on top of a garage and smashed the Ford Batam parked inside."

He said the driver was alone and no other people were injured.
