INGREDIENTS

4 large pork loin chops (approximately 150g each)

cup (60ml) honey

cup (60ml) lemon juice

1 tbsp (15ml) sherry (optional)

2 tbsp (30ml) soy sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

METHOD

Place the pork chops into a glass container.

Mix together the honey, lemon juice, sherry, soy sauce and garlic and pour over the chops.

Marinade the chops for an hour, or ideally overnight.

Heat a griddle pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or braai over hot coals.

Boil the remaining marinade until reduced by half and drizzle over the chops.
