Hold onto your wives, the South African Navy Festival is here.
Global infidelity dating website AshleyMadison.com, which has more than 135000 South African members, has warned husbands to stay clear of Friday's South African Navy Festival in Simon's Town if "sailors float your wife's boat".
According to the website, "32% of women surveyed said a sailor tops their sexual fantasy list, and Simon's Town is full of sailors ready to conduct unofficial 'naval' business, especially after long bouts at sea".
It added that 35% of the 1113 women it interviewed said they had been with a uniformed man and that 50% of them were married at the time.
"Women like to role-play and escape the mundane day-to-day routine. A romp with a man in uniform makes this escape that much more adventurous.
"It is no surprise that adulterous women choose uniformed men to cheat with as it allows them to downplay the act. It makes it seem more like fantasy than real life," said Noel Biderman, the website's founder, known internationally as the king of infidelity.
Twenty-six percent of women wanted to join the mile high club with commercial pilots and 19% fantasised about air force pilots.
Fifteen percent were hot for firemen, and only 8% would want to play the damsel in distress with a policeman.
"In the past year we continue see our biggest growth demographic being females between 25 and 34 years old.
"[It is] proof once again that female infidelity is on the rise, and no country is an exception," Biderman said.
