A dinner of Karoo lamb and snoek was enough for Pop Princess Rihanna to abandon her tight schedule when she visited Western Cape last week.

After her sold-out show at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, Rihanna visited the Aquila Private Game Reserve, near the Mother City.

"The plan was to come for a game drive because they were pressed for time. But they were tempted by our dinner buffet and her group joined us for Karoo lamb curry, beef carvery, traditional Cape snoek in apricot, garlic and coriander, and desserts," said Aquila owner Searl Derman.

He said Rihanna's group of 20 included her mother, aunt, cousins, best friend and crew.

"She was very excited about the quad-bike safari, which she raved about on Twitter this morning," Derman said on Friday.

In a picture uploaded on Instagram, Rihanna is seen posing on a quad bike, sporting funky shades, a scarf and a black top that exposes her midriff.

"Rode ATVz through the wild with #TheBigFive animals today in South Africa! #young #wild #free," Rihanna tweeted.

She also visited the Two Oceans Aquarium, at the Waterfront.
