Hours before he took his life, Oscar winner Robin Williams was planning upcoming projects, entertainment website TMZ said yesterday.

Quoting a confidante of Williams who spoke to the actor the day before his death, TMZ said the pair had held a lengthy discussion and that Williams was "completely engaged in the conversation".

"The source says Robin was asking questions about the deals ... unlike someone planning to kill himself," the report said.
