Jacob Zuma's chest- thumping won't go down well in Africa.

Our president has a tendency to embarrass South Africa every time he speaks. Furthermore, the rand drops.

What he says about Africa might be true, looking at countries such as Kenya and Zimbabwe, but his timing is bad, as always.

If he is not happy with the development of African countries, he should address this directly with his counterparts in those countries.

South Africa is heading the same way as those kleptocratic countries if we still have leaders who lack moral accountability.

It is sad that Africa suffers from weak leadership, dilemmas compared to its global counterparts. Our president should know the value of diplomacy.

In 50 years our South African dream will be the same as that of Kenya.
