Gauteng police spokesperson Brigadier Neville Malila says police have taken in two suspects for questioning in relation to Meyiwa's murder although no arrests had been made.

According to Malila, the police were in the process of questioning people who may have information or who are linked to Meyiwa's murder. The Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was killed at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo's Vooslorus home on Sunday evening.

Malila said suspects were being questioned but no one had officially been arrested.

"Questioning is taking place and that is a routine part of the investigation process. We have not arrested anyone although the investigation is going very well. We are receiving tips and information from the crime hotline as well as Facebook and Twitter."

The Star reported that two suspects were nabbed by police, one in Soweto and the other in Ekurhuleni. The paper added one of the suspects fitted the description of the man wearing a hoodie.

Meanwhile police are still on the hunt for the suspects and are offering a R250 000 reward for information.
