Senzo Meyiwa's sister has revealed what her family thinks may have happened the night of the soccer goalkeeper's death.

Noma Meyiwa said the family were not convinced that all the people in the house who witnessed her brother's shooting - were not familiar with the killer.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Noma said: “We don’t believe that of all those people who were in the house with Senzo, none of them knew the gunman. Of all the people in the house we expected Tumelo to tell us the truth.”

Noma added that Senzo's friend, Tumelo who was also in the house at the time of the tragic incident had not seen the family since the funeral last year. She also said that he was spotted driving around in Senzo's BMW X6 alongside Kelly Khumalo.

The City Press reported recently that police were investigating the witnesses in the house and that an arrest would be made soon.

According to the one detective: “I can assure you that a witness who was there during the shooting will soon be taken in for questioning and possibly be arrested thereafter."
