Supermodel Fanny Neguesha has broken her silence about why she dumped her misfit soccer star boyfriend, Mario Balotelli.

''He was a hard head and couldn't accept I also wanted a career,'' the 24-year-old Belgian beauty, who returned the R475,000 engagement ring Balotelli gave her at the World Cup, told Italian TV.

According to Britain's Mail Online, the Italy and Liverpool striker objected to Neguesha's sexy magazine photographs.

''He didn't want to see me in photo shoots - or singing and dancing,'' Neguesha reportedly said.

''I tried to explain to him that I had a career as well. But he just wouldn't listen.''
