Black Thursday was a sad day for South Africa. The blood of our freedom fighters seems to have come to nought. The agony of our peers who sacrificed their lives in detention so our children could have a bright future - all in vain.

Thanks to a few greedy, corrupt, influential people, we are the laughing stock of the world.

We have the best country on earth and it hurts to see it being raped by leaders who want to enrich themselves and their friends.

Come out of your ivory towers and see the plight of our people who strive to survive the day.

There is enough wealth in our country for everyone.

It can be distributed wisely so we all sleep with our tummies full and a roof over our heads, in comfort with our families.

The new South Africa has not managed to maintain health and hospitals, education, water and electricity. We need radical change. We need it now.
