Ten people found in possession of perlemoen and lobsters worth R1.5 million were arrested in Grotto Bay on the West Coast on Friday, said Western Cape police.

The arrest came as a result of a tip-off from community members, said Constable Noloyiso Rwexana.

The suspects were expected to appear in Malmesbury Magistrate's Court on Monday.
