Hot and spicy masala tea IngredientsSpice mixture4 cinnamon sticks15ml (1 tbsp) cloves8-10 cardamom pods30ml (2 tbsp) ground ginger30ml (2 tbsp) ground pepper5ml (1 tsp) ground nutmegOther ingredients750ml (3 cups) water2 tea bags (everyday black tea)MethodPound the spice mixture ingredients in a spice grinder or with a pestle and mortar till you have a fine powder.Store in an airtight container.Place water, tea bags and 5ml (1 tsp) of the spice mixture in a pot and bring to the boil.Strain and serve hot with sugar and milk (optional), to taste...
