United Africa can overcome all challenges

President Jacob Zuma is spot-on when he says South Africa must not take the blame alone for xenophobic violence. The question is: What are we doing to prevent a problem of this nature from haunting us again?No country can succeed in isolation. The recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa and the terrorist attacks by Boko Haram in Nigeria were supposed to have been prevented a long time ago. If Africa was united, problems like these would have been solved already. We are sitting on a time bomb and we cry when it explodes even though we took no steps to stop it doing so.Africa must come together and identify its problems before they detonate. We knew that hatred was brewing long before 2008 but we ignored it. We knew about Boko Haram and we decided to keep mum. We must learn to be proactive. ..
