Book Junkie

Time Horwood, creative director: MTV Base Africa The book that had the greatest impact on me was:My top three: Eugene Marais' "The Soul of the White Ant", Nick Cave's "And the Ass Saw the Angel" and the winner, by a small margin, Charles Bukowski's "Women".I recommend it to friends/colleagues who.Are not too sensitive (Bukowski can offend most people). Those who have soul, who drink too much alcohol and who appreciate ugliness as much as beauty.Could you sum it up in a few words? Its basically the true story of Bukowski, who had been a broke, ugly, anti-social, alcoholic poet and author working at the post office for 40 odd years. It is a brilliant commentary on fame, humanity and life.At the moment I'm reading:My 18-month-old son's books. Over and over and over again! ..
