Some musicians say nothing spurs on creativity like heartbreak and singer Morgan Deane is proof of that. The singer, who is also the estranged wife of former South African cricket captain Graeme Smith, recently released a single, You Got Me.But instead of heartache, the Irish pop star's second single released in South Africa is a catchy, upbeat song with a carpe diem theme. In an interview on Cliff Central, Deane spoke openly about her divorce, talk of her moving back to Ireland and her new song."I don't want there to be crossed wires [between the divorce and her new single] and I want to keep them separate. The singing thing is my own thing now," she said.Deane, who was part of the Irish pop group Industry, moved to South Africa following her marriage to Smith in 2011.She said she was undecided about whether or not she would return to Ireland because she loved Cape Town. Her single, which she describes as "inspirational", addresses society's "inability to live in the now". It can be listened to via soundcloud.com...
