Ivory Park cops seek info on abandoned four-year-old boy

The South African Police Service in Ivory Park has appealed for help in reuniting an abandoned child with his family. According to Gauteng provincial spokesperson Lieutenant Kay Makhubele‚ the “four-year-old boy was found abandoned next to questhouses in Tswelopele by a woman coming from work at around 7 to 8 pm last Thursday”.The woman‚ said Makhubele‚ took the child to the Ivory Park Police Station.When asked where his parents were‚ the boy‚ who was carrying a bag containing his clothes‚ said his mother got into a truck and left him behind.He has been placed at a place of safety.Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the mother or relatives can contact the police on 0119909600 or 082 301 2320...
