Birdseed cake Ingredients120g (1 cup) cake flourPinch of salt2.5ml ( tsp) baking powder2.5ml ( tsp) bicarbonate of soda15ml (1 tbsp) poppy seeds15ml (1 tbsp) sesame seeds1 extra-large egg, plus 1 extra egg yolk200g (1 cup) sugar160ml ( cup) olive oil160ml ( cup) milkZest and juice of 1 small orangeIcing sugar, for dustingMethodGrease or spray a 20cm springform pan and line base with grease-proof paper.Preheat the oven to 180°C. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and bicarb into a bowl.Add seeds.Whisk eggs and sugar till light and creamy, then stir in oil, milk, orange zest and juice.Mix into dry ingredients, then pour batter into pan.Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out and dust with icing sugar...
