Murder suspect nabbed while en route to allegedly kill witness in Pretoria

A suspect sought by Pretoria police for more than a month for a murder in the capital was nabbed after police received a tip-off that the suspect was allegedly planning to come to the city to kill a witness. The 27-year-old suspect was being sought in connection with stabbing a man known as “Bushy” to death in the city centre on July 12.Police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said police had been working around the clock to arrest the suspect who fled the murder scene.“Police received a tip-off from a member of the community that the suspect was intending to come to Pretoria to kill one of the witnesses.“On Friday the suspect showed up as indicated. Sergeant Phillip Sithole and his team who have been working endlessly on this case managed to arrest the suspect‚” Capt Selepe said.The suspect was denied bail when he appeared in court on Monday for a bail application hearing...
