Western Province have been boosted by the news that captain Nizaam Carr's hamstring injury is not as serious as originally feared. Carr, who left the field early in the second half during WP's33-15 win over Griquas at Newlands on Saturday, could be fit to play against the Sharks in Durban this Saturday."The hamstring feels good," Carr said. "It's shown a massive improvement since Saturday."Coach John Dobson confirmed that Carr would have until Thursday to prove his fitness.Dobson has written to the SA Rugby Union to query some scrum calls made against his team at the weekend. The coach was clearly frustrated with the amount of penalties his side conceded at the set piece, even though they generally held the upper hand."I had to send an instruction down to ease off on the scrums because we were being penalised when we clearly had the dominant scrum," Dobson said. The coach is expecting a tight game-plan from the Sharks and is still mulling over his options to combat their approach - especially when it comes to flyhalf.Kurt Coleman endured a mixed bag against Griquas, while Rob du Preez, who replaced him, looked dangerous. But the coach is also keen to give Dillyn Leyds a chance in the No10 jersey. ..
