Low risk of load shedding on Sunday

The country’s power system is stable and no load shedding is currently taking place‚ Eskom said on Sunday. It said that only 2 hours and 20 minutes of load shedding had been implemented in the past 42 days.“And‚ since it was stage 1 load shedding‚ this meant that 96% of South Africans still received uninterrupted electricity supply on that day‚” the power provider noted.“We did warn earlier in the week that the power system would be especially tight until today. We continue to urge customers to use energy efficiently at all times especially air conditioners‚ geysers and pool pumps as they do use a lot of electricity‚” it added...
