Following on from the success of Martin Scorsese's Wolf of Wall Street, the world of finance is getting another all-star cast comedy treatment this December. Directed by Adam McKay - whose talents lie much more in the broad comedy genre of films like The Other Guys and Anchorman - The Big Short is adapted from journalist Michael Lewis's book and stars Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei and Steve Carell. It's the story of a group of bankers who pull off a scheme to rip off the big banks during the economic crisis of 2008. You can watch the trailer on YouTube and the film releases in the US in December.The unlikely pair of Mila Kunis and Rob Zombie are rumoured to be producing a half-hour comedy horror series for the Starz network. Written and created by Arrested Development co-producer Joey Salmon, the as yet untitled show will take place "over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult".In an effort to take on HBO and the runaway success of Game of Thrones, the BBC has announced its plan to produce an epic series set against the backdrop of the fall of Troy. Troy: Fall of a City is described as a "visceral retelling" of the Trojan War, "unlike anything seen before on the BBC"...
