Eskom's top tier appointed

Ben Ngubane has been appointed the chairperson of Eskom’s board‚ Brian Molefe the chief executive and Anoj Singh the chief financial officer of the state-owned utility. Cabinet approved these appointments on Friday.“I welcome these appointments and they are part of my ongoing interventions to stabilise Eskom‚” said Minister of Public Enterprises Lynne Brown.Ngubane has been acting chairperson since March 30 while Molefe‚ was seconded from Transnet in mid-April and Singh‚ also from Transnet‚ from August.“They have been successful in bringing stability to the company whilst dealing with a constrained grid‚” Brown said. “Now that they have been permanently appointed at Eskom‚ I have requested the board to start the process to fill these vacancies at Transnet.”..
