Gauteng and most of the interior will experience a heat wave over the next five days. The temperature in Johannesburg is expected to reach 32ºC today, according to the South African Weather Service. It will remain above 30ºC until Saturday.Pretoria will be hotter, with a temperature of 35ºC forecast for today and Thursday.A heat wave is when temperatures are five degrees higher than the usual temperature for a period of more than three days.Mpumalanga and North West will be exceptionally hot, too.The weather service suggested that people drink lots of water, use sunscreen and a hat and stay out of the sun from 10am to 4pm...
