In the wake of the increase in school shootings and the ever-raging debate about guns and gun ownership in the US, you might think that offering card-carrying members of the National Rifle Association free entry to a film about faith and guns is not a good idea. However, it seems that the producers and distributors of Armour of Light, a documentary about an evangelical minister who asks faith-based questions about the Second Amendment, are looking to change attitudes rather than reinforce old ideas when the film opens in the US next week.Everyone's favourite science show, Mythbusters, has been cancelled by the Discovery Channel. It said this week: "After 248 episodes, 2950 experiments, 1050 myths and 900 explosions, hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman will say goodbye to the series this winter." The show's 14th season will be its last and it ends in 2016.With the recent marking of Back to the Future Day and geeky investigations of all things time-travel-related, Fox has announced that it has commissioned a new time-travel comedy series. Produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, In Time will reportedly focus on a group of friends who, in between living their boring lives in the present day, also find time to go on wild adventures through time...
