The alarmist IPCC is predicting a sea-level rise of only 300mm to 500mm and even that would require the melting of all floating ice, glaciers and small grounded ice caps.The prophesied "catastrophe" can come about only if the Antarctic and Greenland ice caps melt - between them they hold 99% of the world's ice.However, the average temperature of both these ice caps (-55°C and -30°C respectively) is so far below the apocalyptic temperature rise predicted by the alarmists that they are in no danger of melting.We came out of the last Ice Age with an unprecedented 14C per century rate of change (currently less than 1C) when much of North America and Europe were under 3000m-thick ice caps, which started to melt rapidly.
