SA rapper K.O ready to put UK out for the count

Local meets international once again as Cashtime Life rapper K.O becomes the latest South African hip-hop artist to make waves overseas with a tour to the UK. K.O, real name Ntokozo Mdluli, will showcase his platinum-status album Skhanda Republic, which boasts hits such as Skhanda Love featuring Nandi Mngoma, and Son of a Gun, from November 18 to November 23 in the UK.The Ding Dong rapper joins the likes of local hip-hop artists Reason, AKA and Cassper Nyovest, all of whom have toured overseas this year.Baddest rapper AKA lit up Manchester and Liverpool, in June, Yipikayay hit-maker Reason toured Germany and the Netherlands in September, and Mama I Made It rapper Cassper Nyovest performed in London and Dublin, also in September.Mr Cashtime, as K.O is also known, will have radio tours, performances and a sit-down interview with Capital Xtra radio's Urban DJ Tim Westwood, BBC Radio1 Xtra's DJ Edu and others.Skhanda Republic, K.O's debut solo album, has won him much exposure since it was released last year.His smash hit Caracara, featuring Kid X, won awards including for best collaboration, best rap album and record of the year at this year's SA Music Awards.The single has been No1 on a number of radio charts and its video has been viewed more than 2 million times on YouTube...
