Tik turns small Oz town into 'Little Antarctica'

The small town of Wellington, in New South Wales, Australia, is so overrun by crystal methamphetamine, or "ice", that it is known as "Little Antarctica". Police Inspector Scott Tanner, who works in Wellington, said children of 10 have been experimenting with the drug, a highly addictive stimulant, known as "tik" in South Africa."It is so cheap, so easy to get hold of," he said.
