Erykah Badu is back with the release of a new EP. But it's not her return to music after five years that has people talking. As host of the 2015 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, Badu took a swipe at rappers, in particular Australian Iggy Azalea.Taking mock phone calls from rappers, Badu joked that they were banned from the awards because the awards were all about the soul. She then "took a call" from Azalea, who asked whether she could attend, even though all rappers had been banned.Badu replied: "Oh no no no, you can't come cause what you're doing is definitely not rap," causing the audience to roar with laughter.Social-media users jumped in, with @VibeMagazine tweeting: "@fatbellybella's Iggy Azalea joke at the #SoulTrainAwards was hilarious."@callmedollar tweeted: "Poor Iggy Azalea. She's had a year-round dragging #SoulTrainAwards."Azalea did not respond.Winners on the night included:The Weekend, for album of the year, Beauty Behind the Madness, and best R&B/soul male artist;Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for video of the year and song of the year for Uptown Funk;Kendrick Lamar's Alright took the rap song of the year accolade.Beyonce's 7/11 lost out to Silento's Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) for best dance performance...
