Riky Rick Slikour's 2016 pick
The Times spoke to Slikour, a former member of Skwatta Kamp, about the future of hip-hop in South Africa. He said: "Last year we had a balance of house and hip-hop doing well but in the news hip- hop dominated."I think we could see great things from Nasty C and Emtee - but it's Riky Rick who could have an even bigger year and I think we will see more of Durban reigning in the hip-hop side of things."Riky Rick, aka Rikhado Makhado, is also an actor, writer, producer and composer.
