Man arrested for throwing wife and child out of building

A man has been arrested for allegedly pushing his wife and five-year-old daughter out of a six-storey building in the Johannesburg CBD on Saturday night‚ Gauteng police have confirmed. Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said the 39-year-old man‚ who had been arrested by the local community and handed over to police‚ would appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court on Monday on murder charges.Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the woman and child lying on the pavement outside a building in Joubert Park. The woman was dead while the daughter was still alive but succumbed to her injuries soon afterwards‚ ER24 said.It is understood that the couple had had an argument...
