East London gets green light to host PSL games

East London has finally received approval to host Premier Soccer League games and will start this weekend when Chippa United welcome Ajax Cape Town. The PSL confirmed yesterday that the game on Sunday had been switched from Port Elizabeth to the Buffalo City Stadium. It will kick off at 3.30pm"There will be four games in East London this season," said PSL spokesman Lux September yesterday.Permission has been granted after several visits by the PSL to the venue, where they insisted the condition of the pitch be improved.Chippa United have been trying for months to get permission to move some of their fixtures from the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to East London...
