The facts about Zuma

01 February 2016 - 02:19 By Leo Tuttelberg, Johannesburg

In response to Yonela Diko's piece about President Jacob Zuma not being bad for the economy, I guess Zuma told his lackeys to write something positive about him or else. This rambling article is very confusing and some of the "facts" are total nonsense. Here are the facts about Zuma: he was elected by the ANC and not by the electorate. He disbanded the Scorpions so they would stop investigating the 700 criminal charges against him, he has spent millions of rands of taxpayers' money on his private home, he has ignored every report produced by the public protector, he continues to appoint incompetent cadres in key positions and he caused catastrophic damage to the economy by firing a very capable finance minister and replacing him with a stooge. ..
