Bus overturns near Barberton‚ at least 18 injured

At least 18 funeral goers were injured on Saturday morning when their bus overturned on the Mnjindini Pass outside Barberton in Mpumalanga‚ paramedics reported. It is believed that the driver lost control of the bus on a dirt road. The bus overturned and landed on its side in a ditch next to the road‚ ER24 emergency medical service said.It added that the occupants had sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated at the scene and then transported by ER24 and local emergency services to the Barberton Provincial Hospital for further treatment.“It is understood that they were on their way to a funeral when the accident occurred. The exact cause of the accident is not yet known.”..
