A 26-year-old woman has been arrested for her alleged involvement in the petrol bombing of three houses in Ennerdale‚ south of Johannesburg. The woman was arrested on Saturday‚ several hours after the houses of three people who participated in an anti-drug protest were bombed. The woman‚ who cannot be named until she appears in court on Tuesday morning‚ is believed to have been identified through CCTV footage taken from one of the houses.Police spokesman Major Mack Mngomezulu confirmed the arrest‚ adding that police were searching for other suspects. He said the woman had been charged with malicious damage to property. At the police station‚ the woman's sister said her family was disappointed in the manner in which the case was handled. She said her sister had been charged with arson and malicious damage to property‚ among other charges.“My sister could not have gone around burning people's houses. She has been falsely accused‚" said the sister.“We found her a lawyer and we want to see the footage when she appears in court tomorrow.”The houses were burnt down in the early hours of Saturday. This came a few days after a small group of community members led a march to an alleged drug dealer's house and staged a stakeout‚ burning tyres at the gate.Yesterday‚ the alleged drug dealer‚ who asked not to be named‚ denied that he was selling drugs.“I do not know why these people are accusing me of being a drug dealer. I am not a dealer‚” he said.“Now‚ I am scared of going out and feel like a prisoner‚” he told Sowetan."No one can separate yourself and happiness. The two are united."..
