Cape Town is cheap and cheerful for tourists

Cape Town is one of the world's cheapest tourist destinations. A study by airport transfer booking site Hoppa made the finding by analysing the average hotel‚ food‚ drink and taxi costs per person per night in 46 tourist meccas.The most expensive was Dubai‚ costing an average of £279 (R5‚900) a night. The cheapest was Budapest‚ capital of Hungary‚ at £40.Cape Town was 42nd on the list‚ costing £66 (R1‚408) on average per night‚ putting it in the top five cheapest destinations.
