Two dead after taxi overturns on Alberton freeway

Two people died when a taxi driver lost control of his vehicle and overturned on the R59/N12 freeway in the Alberton area on Tuesday morning.ER24 paramedics said that nine others were injured in the accident.The paramedics said that when they arrived at the scene they found the taxi had rolled multiple times and was on the embankment a few meters from the road.One of the critically injured patients was airlifted to hospital. The other critically injured patient and other patients who sustained moderate injuries were transported to hospital by ambulance.The exact cause of the incident is unknown‚ but authorities were on scene for further investigations...
