Three dead‚ several others injured in Kraaifontein collision

Three men were killed and several other people were injured in a collision between two vehicles on the N1 near Kraaifontein in the Western Cape on Saturday evening‚ paramedics said.“ER24 paramedics‚ Metro and Life Healthcare as well as other services attended to the incident.“Two men were trapped in the car that was on its roof and another was trapped in the light delivery vehicle‚” ER24 said.“Sadly there was nothing that could be done for them. They had succumbed to their injuries.“They were declared dead‚” ER24 added.It said a woman who had to be extricated from one of the vehicles was found to have sustained serious injuries.“She as well as at least five other patients‚ which included two young children‚ were treated for their injuries and transported to various local hospitals‚” ER24 said...
