Durban protesters make highway a no-go zone

The M19 freeway in Durban had to be closed due to rocks‚ burning tyres and debris on Monday.Protesters who are unhappy with service delivery blocked several kilometres of the freeway and threw boulders and rocks off the bridges‚ making the road unpassable. Metro and Public Order Police were called out to keep a watchful eye over Ethekweni firemen as they put out the blazes. ..
