Long road to glory for under-20 squad

The generation of football players who went to the Under-17 World Cup in Chile last year has graduated to the under-20s and begin their bid for another world championship appearance in Windhoek on Saturday. The squad has gone from the hands of Molefi Ntseki to those of Thabo Senong, who leads its bid to get to the 2017 Under-20 World Cup in South Korea. But the new coach warns that the step up from under-17 to under-20 level is a tough one."They will find it tough to adapt," Senong warned yesterday.The long road for the current under-20 crop begins at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, where they play against Namibia in a second round, first-leg tie in the qualifiers for next year's African Youth Championship in Zambia, from which the top four will advance to the World Cup later on in 2017...
