Sick magistrate leads to another postponement for Panayiotou

The bail application of murder-accused Christopher Panayiotou has been postponed in Port Elizabeth Magistrate's court again on Friday. The Herald's Kathryn Kimberly reported that it seemed “Beeton was off sick”.Standing in for Beeton‚ magistrate Estie Petzer postponed the matter until Wednesday‚ May 25.Defence advocate Terry Price said he had received state prosecutor Marius Stander's papers in opposition to the bail application and will once again respond.Panayiotou is accused of ordering a hit on his wife‚ Jayde‚ 29‚ in April last year. – TMG Digital/The Herald..
