At least 30 injured in Durban bus crash

At least 30 people were injured on Sunday morning when a bus veered off the N2 near Chatsworth outside Durban in KwaZulu-Natal and crashed down an embankment‚ paramedics said.ER24 paramedics‚ along with several other services‚ arrived on the scene to find the large bus lying at the bottom of a steep embankment.“Occupants from the bus had already climbed out of the vehicle and had made their way to the roadside.“It was discovered that roughly 30 people had been in the bus at the time of the collision‚” ER24 emergency medical service said.It said paramedics had assessed the patients and found that they had sustained only minor injuries.“Fortunately‚ no-one had sustained any serious or fatal injuries.“The patients were treated and transported to nearby facilities or further treatment‚” ER24 said.It said the exact number of injured was unknown as some of the passengers had left the scene prior to the arrival of paramedics...
