A Paris drug dealer offered customers a little something on top of the usual - a selfie with his pet tiger cub. The story emerged after the animal was found at the side of the road in a suburb of the French capital. The animal had apparently been abandoned when its owner panicked as police started trying to track it down.Officers first came across the male tiger weeks ago when they saw a photo of it on the mobile phone of a man arrested on suspicion of selling drugs. He told them that the owner, an alleged cannabis dealer, would let clients take a selfie with the beast for £4 (about R88), Europe 1 radio reported.Owning a tiger is illegal in France, so police set off on its trail.Word of the search reached the suspected drug dealer - it is not clear how he came to be in the company of the animal - and he quickly got rid of the pet, which is the size of a large domestic cat, police said. The recovered cub was in good health and was delivered to an animal charity that looks after abandoned large cats and primates. "He's not in too bad a state, but perhaps a bit skinny," said charity head Pierre Thivillon. "He's sweet, completely at ease with humans."The suspect dealer remains at large. ..
