Public protector finds Monday inspiration in her own tweet
Her tweets provide inspiration to many of her 427 000 followers. Her steadfastness in the face of stiff opposition in the political and public arena mean her social media missives contain much motivation.One example was Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s Monday morning post – “#DearYoungPerson:Choose one special goal and achieve it each today. You will feel your self-esteem skyrocket at the end of the day” – which quickly earned more than 70 retweets and as many likes.Occasionally‚ it seems‚ Madonsela is sometimes impressed by her own resolve – as evidenced in another Monday morning tweet‚ about seeing the positive in the first day of the week.Just after 8am‚ Adv Thuli Madonsela retweeted her own tweet that she posted in the wee hours: I love Mondays because I see them as an opportunity for new beginnings filled with hope and optimism— Adv Thuli Madonsela (@ThuliMadonsela3) July 11, 2016async Kim Robinson @Kimbelshanks was awake just after 4am to remark on the original version - “@ThuliMadonsela3 No idea how you manage to get up so early and be the amazing woman you are. Do you ever sleep ?” – while Mamokgethi Molopyane @Reagoikanya replied to the retweet: “@ThuliMadonsela3 I love Mondays too. There’s an excitement about them. As for Wednesday‚ don’t get them.” ..
