R87 million Powerball winner still keeping a low profile

The winner of the weekend’s R87-million Powerball jackpot has not claimed their winnings yet.Ithuba‚ which is the National Lottery operator‚ told TMG Digital on Monday that the winner‚ who bought the ticket in Mokopane‚ Limpopo had not yet come forward or arrived at the Lotto offices to claim its biggest Powerball jackpot.The total amount won is R87,624,435.The winner purchased a quick-pick ticket for R20 at Global Filling Station in Mokopane on Friday.Ithuba's Zukiswa Nomnganga said winners have 365 days from the date of the draw to claim their money.“This was the biggest PowerBall jackpot since Ithuba took over the operation of running the National Lottery in June last year. In addition‚ we will be announcing another huge jackpot for the new Lotto tomorrow morning‚" Nomnganga said...
