Five injured as Durban substation explodes

Five men were seriously injured when an electrical substation they were working on in Richard Carte Road in Jacobs‚ Durban‚ exploded early on Monday. Advanced life support paramedics were called to deal with multiple casualties at the scene."Once all of the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care that they required‚" said Rescue Care operations director Garrith Jamieson.Woman who called traffic cop the k-word to face more chargesThe Durban Fire Department was on scene and will investigate the cause of the explosion. – TMG Digital..
