Man convicted of murders in Lesotho arrested by Interpol

Members of Interpol have arrested a man wanted in Lesotho to serve a sentence after being convicted for two murders perpetrated in November 2004. Habofanoe Lephuthela Ntsie‚ 56‚ was arrested on Thursday morning in Vereeniging and appeared before the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court for the extradition process to begin. He was remanded in custody and he will appear in court again on August 25.“Interpolfirst received the extradition request for the same suspect in 2012‚ only for the matter to be dismissed in 2015.The relentless Interpol members upped their game when they received yet another request to arrest the convicted murderer this year‚” said Hawks spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Netshiunda...
